In order to provide a level of continuous operation, CORE will implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with the International Standard for Information Security, ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The operation of this ISMS has many benefits for CORE, including:
- protection of revenue streams and company profitability;
- ensuring reliable supply of ICT services to our customers;
- compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;
- ISO/IEC 27001: 2022 certification.

As Manager Operations I am responsible for information security risk management activities and for the acceptance of residual risk, to ensure that security controls are in place to manage risks associated to the Datacenter services, such as services for local customers in the private sector, and customers in the Dutch Caribbean.

In the role as Manager Business Support and Services it is essential to be able to uphold the highest quality of service towards our clients but at the same time to always remain aware of all security aspects in relation to this. Furthermore, ITIL best practices play a pivotal role in the company and towards the ISO 27001 certification. Our aim is to always reach higher and improve wherever it is possible.

As Information Security Manager it is my responsibility to ensure the implementation of the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System, including the execution of Asset-Based Risk Assessment, providing awareness through training, and conducting internal audits. The aim of the CORE Academy Learning is to provide Information security awareness, education, and training for all employees of CORE, in accordance with our ISMS.
